OUR HISTORY

REMISSION RUN began in January 2009 as a way to celebrate lymphoma survivor Bill Crews’ five year anniversary of being in remission. But it quickly became much more than that. It became a way to celebrate the lives of all the men, women and children who have had to endure cancer. Our goal is to continue to put a spotlight on the “celebrities” of our race: the cancer survivors and those precious lives we’ve lost to cancer.

Your participation in this race is a way for you to use your healthy body to help wipe out cancer. 100% of the proceeds of The Bill Crews Remission Run are donated to research at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas
