Participants:
We were pleased to have 504 runners registered for the second running of the Bill Crews Remission Run as well as more than 100 faithful volunteers. It was a cold morning, but a warm spirit filled the air as we raced in honor and memory of more than 200 heroes in the war against cancer. It was also wonderful to have several men and women from the Lymphoma Department at MD Anderson running the race as well as some others from the institute who came out to run, cheer or volunteer.

Donation:
Thanks to our wonderful Remission Runners, we were able to make a donation to the Fredrick B. Hagemeister Research Fund of $14,000. All of this funding is used to develop better therapies for treating lymphoma and will eventually lead to the elimination of these diseases. Check out photos from our check presentation on March 2, 2010.

Next Race:
Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 5, 2011 and join us for the 3rd Bill Crews Remission Run. Our special theme for the next race will be revealed at the CB&I Triathlon on May 1 in The Woodlands, Texas. Our committee will be on site to volunteer and race in this event. We can't wait to see you!
